Style References
A style reference is a single image that defines the visual style you want your renders to match — a precedent project, a mood board image, a magazine photo, or a specific render style.
Adding a Style Reference
- Open the Style panel in your project
- Click Upload reference and select an image (JPG or PNG)
- The image is saved and shown as a thumbnail
Only one style reference image per project is supported. Replace it at any time by uploading a new one.
Style Intensity
The intensity slider (0–100%) controls how strongly the reference influences the render:
- Low (20–40%) — Subtle influence: tonal range, overall feel
- Medium (50–70%) — Clear style match: materials, lighting, mood (recommended)
- High (80–100%) — Strong match: the render closely follows the reference image's look
Style Notes
Write freeform notes describing what to take from the reference: "The warm afternoon light and terracotta tones", "Minimal vegetation, focus on the façade", "Photorealistic quality with shallow depth of field".
Style notes are combined with the reference image in the render prompt.
AI Style Analysis
Click the Analyse button to have Claude Vision automatically generate style notes from your reference image. It describes the lighting conditions, material palette, atmosphere, and rendering style — a good starting point you can then edit.
AI analysis works best on high-quality architectural renders or professional photography. For abstract mood boards, write your own notes for more precise control.
