Materials Board

The Materials Board is where you upload reference images for the materials you want in your renders — facade cladding, roofing, flooring, glass, timber, concrete, and more.

Adding Materials

  1. Open the Materials panel in your project
  2. Click Add material and upload a photo of the material (JPG or PNG)
  3. Give it a name and optional tags (e.g. dark timber, terracotta tile, glass façade)
  4. The material image is saved to your project

Upload as many materials as needed per project — there's no limit.

Enabling Materials for a Render

Each material has an on/off toggle. Only enabled materials are sent to the AI — disable any materials you don't want influencing the current render.

This lets you quickly swap material schemes: enable the dark timber set for one render, switch to the light concrete set for another, without deleting anything.

Material Intensity

Each material has an intensity slider (0–100%). Higher intensity makes the material more prominent. Materials above 80% intensity are referenced twice in the prompt for extra emphasis.

Material Presets

Save your current enabled material selection as a preset to reuse across projects or switch between schemes quickly:

  1. Configure and enable the materials you want
  2. Click Save as preset and give it a name
  3. Apply a preset at any time with one click — it replaces the current material selection
Tip

Create presets for common palettes you use across projects: Residential standard, Commercial glass & steel, Warm Nordic, etc.
