Site Photos & Street View

Site photos give the AI a real-world context for your render — the actual location, surroundings, sky conditions, and perspective. This is especially powerful for renovation projects and context studies.

Uploading Your Own Photo

  1. Open your project and scroll to Site photos in the left panel
  2. Click Upload photo and select a JPG or PNG
  3. The photo is saved to your project and available for all renders

Google Street View

If you have the project address, Archvisio can fetch a Street View image automatically:

  1. Click Street View in the site photos panel
  2. Enter the address or drop a pin on the map
  3. Adjust the heading (compass direction) to face the right direction
  4. Click Fetch — the image is saved to your project
Note

Street View coverage varies by location. If no imagery is available at the exact address, try a nearby street or landmark.

How Site Photos Affect Renders

When a site photo is selected, it becomes the primary reference image instead of the plan. The AI will:

  • Preserve the real-world perspective and scale
  • Match the sky, lighting, and surroundings
  • Place your design in context

This produces photorealistic renders that show how a building will look in its actual environment.

Before & After

Any render generated with a site photo automatically gets a before/after slider — drag the divider to compare the original photo with the render. This is useful for client presentations.

Tip

For renovation projects, use a direct photo of the existing building. The AI will apply your design changes while keeping the rest of the scene intact.
